Add vodka and basil lemonade. Garnish with basil leaf and lime. Finish with a splash of sparkle. Basil Lemonade 2 cups filtered water 3/4 cup granulated sugar 1 cup fresh basil leaves (packed) 1 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed 1 1/2 cups additional filtered water Combine water and sugar in a large sauce pan over moderate heat. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Cover pot and bring sugar syrup to a boil. Remove lid, lower heat and add basil leaves. Simmer 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool completely. Strain out basil leaves. Add lemon juice and add remaining water. Chill thoroughly and serve over ice.
